The Salamander is a semi-aquatic creature that is found on the Planet Ribbitopia.
Biology[]
Salamanders are very large, semi-aquatic creature, as large as a small Crocodilian. Their eyes are located on the top of their heads, aimed upward rather than forward compared to Earth Salamanders. Their limbs are stubby and under-developed, with a finned tail for locomotion. They have visible nostrils at the very end of the mouth.
Behavior[]
Salamanders have never been seen out of water, though their anatomy suggests they breathe air like true Amphibians do. They are ambush predators, their upward-facing eyes spying on any prey that wanders within reach, to which they launch themselves upward and gulp whole.
