The Saarg are a small species of creatures native to the Microverse in Marvel Comics.
Biology[]
The Saarg are small creatures about several inches in height. Their overall body structure is bean-like. Saarg possess two genders. Saarg bodies possess multiple mouths and eyes and tendrils that dot their bodies and appear to overlap with each other. Due to this configuration they appear hollow like holes in cheese. Despite their non-humanoid appearance they are divided into two sexes.
History[]
Nadia Van Dyne aka The Wasp was blinded after destroying a parasitic energy vampire that was feeding on the Thetacorians in the Microverse. Unable to see, Naida to had to rely on Scott Lang aka Ant Man to repair her eyes whilst in miniature form. Nadia tripped over a ledge and landed in the midst of a another micro-civilization of the Saarg. Unbeknowest to her she was causing severe damage to their civilization. The Saarg viewed her as an enemy and wished to use their weapons to kill her, however one scientist wished for a more peaceful solution and used a shrink ray to capture Nadia. The girl stripped of her suit was slated to be dissected by the Saarg.
