The Rovers were a series of robotic constructs created as the enforcers of the world Primus Polaris in Planetoid.
Design[]
The Rovers were robots with very unique designs, some appeared to be bulky humanoids, other bestial like dinosaurs, The Ono Mao that came in possession of them utilized them, however many Rovers were missing vital parts, and in total states of disrepair, such as lacking heads, arms.
History[]
The Rovers were originally used by the Colonial Congress affiliate company Heliocor to supervise the slaves that bought to Primus Polaris. After the Ono Mao annexed the planet, Heliocor abandoned the robots and their slaves. The Ono Mao re purposed the robots to capture the remaining slave population for processing and lobotimization.
The Rovers were a constant to the inhabitants of the planet that regressed to savage, wandering tribes. However Silas Aden began to organize the tribes to create a permanent community called the Settlement. Using his experimental Ono Mao hand cannon, he quickly dispatched the Rovers that violated the community's border.
Silas's actions caught the attentions of the Ono Mao overseers, especially General Boa, who managed to capture the defiant human. Later after Silas escaped, Boa launched a full scale attack using the Rovers. The Rovers nearly killed all the settlers, only sparing those that surrendered for lobotimization. The Skyladder, the main unit that control the Rovers was destroyed by Silas.
A decade later, the new models of Rovers were brought to Neo Villa, by Helicor, for 'protection'. These new models sported slimmer builds, and consistent standard frames, with built in machine gun weaponry. Helicor planned to mobilize them against the settlement to oust them from Primus Polaris.
