Rocket Soldiers (aka Rocket Troopers and Rocketeers) are a subspecies of Cybertronian Soldiers from the planet Cybertron.

Rocket Soldiers share a similar biology to other Cybertronians except they transform into Cybertronian vans.

Rocket Soldiers are named for carrying thermo rocket launchers.

Rocket Soldiers share many of the same weaknesses as other Cybertronians.
Compared to other Cybertronians, Rocket Soldiers have weak armor.
Culture and society[]
Rocket Soldiers share a similar culture to other Cybertronians. They generally serve as some of the most common foot soldiers in the Autobot, Decepticon, and even neutral armies.
Rocket Soldiers provide heavier artillery support for other types of Soldiers, often working in tandem with Shotgunners and standard Soldier units. They also exist as a body-type as Shadow Raiders.

- The Shadow Raider Rocket Soldiers featured in Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark reuse the Combaticon Scout design first seen in the Revenge of the Fallen game, which itself is based on Generation 1 Swindle.
- In the Nintendo 3DS version, Shadow Raiders with the Rocket Soldier design are identified as "Assault Soldiers".
