The Rock People are a sapient species of rock-based humanoids from the planet Geolon.
Biology
Like their name indicates, Rock People are mineral humanoids, notable for their ability to curl up into a nearly spherical asteroid form. In this form, they can fly and even propel themselves through interstellar space without spaceships.
They're remarkably strong creatures, able to effortlessly defeat opponents even when severely outnumbered.
Culture and society
Despite their exceptional strength, members of this species are pacifists and prefer to never engage in violence except to defend themselves. Even then, they take care to avoid hurting their opponents.
History
The Rock People abandoned their homeworld of Geolon when they found that their sun was about to explode. They wandered through space in their asteroid forms searching for another world to live until eventually reaching Etheria.
At first, they were reluctant to settle on Etheria due to their aversion to violence and unwillingness to take part in the conflict between the Horde and the Rebels. However, due to the limited time available before the destruction of their sun, and having made friends with the Rebel faction after the latter helped them escape Hordak, the Rock People decided to live on Etheria after all. Thanks to She-Ra's influence, they were given asylum by the Trolls, reasoning that both species would get along and the Horde wouldn't dare to bother them.
