The Rigellians, also known as Nordic Rigellians, are extraterrestrial beings from the Rigel system in the Orion constellation. According to ufology and contactee theories, there was a race descended from the Lyrans, with a Nordic appearance, on Rigel. However, a 300-year civil war involving nuclear weapons and the subsequent influence of extraterrestrials (Greys) from Zeta Reticuli altered the appearance and genetics of the Rigelians, transforming them from Nordic beings to Greys. Other authors consider current Rigelians to have authoritarian and fascist tendencies.
Nordic Rigelians[]
One of the space colonies formed by humanoids, descendants of the Lyrans, was established on the planets of the Rigel solar system in the Orion constellation. At some point in its history, Rigel, with its Nordic population, was the center of a vast culture that extended to other stars in the Orion constellation. It presumably suffered a destructive civil war and was subsequently attacked by Grey beings.
According to George Andrews, a contactee who communicated with a being from Procyon of Rigelian origin, the following was said:
Rigel was a vast empire, which had been the source of authority at the behest of some of the galactic seeding. All Rigelians were tall. A colony had already been established on Procyon. The great war that ended Rigel was a civil war of Rigelians against Rigelians, and it lasted the equivalent of three Earth centuries. A group of Rigelians realized that the great war was about to end in a nuclear explosion and possessed clandestinely constructed ships that took off for one of the colonies on Procyon and a moon of Jupiter (Ganymede). They were the only Rigelians to escape the cataclysmic devastation. All those who remained on Rigel were transformed into small Greys.
It seems the Rigelians subjected their planet to a massive nuclear war, which led to environmental collapse and forced them to live in underground shelters. The Rigelians ended up becoming Grey-like beings. It is highly unlikely that the supposed transformation of the Nordic Rigelians resulted in "small Greys," whose genetic material is generally considered inferior by human races such as the Nordics.

It is most likely that the genetic mutation process would have taken much longer than the three centuries mentioned. It is quite possible that the surviving Nordic Rigelians were incorporated into a genetic hybridization program with the "Little Greys" from a star known as Zeta Reticulum, who had covertly infiltrated and undermined Rigel before and/or during the great war on Rigel.
The Short Greys, probably in secret, managed to use the genetic material of the weakened Nordic survivors to genetically modify themselves into Grey beings of a larger-than-average size.
Colony in the Procyon System[]
According to authors Alex Collier, George Andrews, and Steward Swerdlow, life on Procyon began with the arrival of Nordic Rigelian colonists. When the Greys took control of Rigel, the Rigelian colonists moved to Procyon. The colonists managed to fight the Rigelian Greys and expel them from their planet.
Author Joshua Stone also considers the Procyons, descendants of the Rigelians, to be benevolent beings for life on Earth.
Colony on Ganymede - Jupiter's Moon[]
According to contactee Sixto Paz, colonists from the Rigel System in Orion founded artificial colonies on Jupiter's largest moon, which we know on Earth as Ganymede. These beings call that planet Morlem.

According to 6th Peace, Morlen has 6 large semi-subterranean cities:
- Crystal City.
- Brotherhood City.
- Morla.
- Omund.
- Ramanes.
- Solma.
Sixto Paz maintained contact with various beings from Ganymede, including Oxalc and others.
