The Remnants are an artificially created species that resemble long cloths of fabric.
They were bio-engineered by scientists on the once hospitable planet Desolation were they were being tortured by the Stenza to create dangerous creature and weapons set free on the planet to test their ability in war. The Remnants were among the many monstrosities released on Desolation and participated in the destruction of all life on the planet.
The Remnants are nocturnal creatures, were by day their just lifeless strips of cloth but by night they become animated and move in a serpentine ghost-like manner in flight. The Remnants are capable of speech and can read the memories of sentient beings in their vicinity. They often taunt their victims with their fears and anxieties from their extracted memories as a form of distraction until the moment were they kill their victims by smothering and constricting them similar to a Boa Constrictor.
