The Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal is a non-sapient predatory species which is infamous throughout the galaxy for its extremely low intellect and vicious appetite.
When confronted with this creature, it is advisable to wrap a towel around one's head to avoid its gaze. The reason for this is that the Beast is so unbelievably dense that it instinctively assumes that, since you cannot see it, it cannot see you either.
