The Ranese resemble blue scaled upright iguanas.
History[]
The story maintained by Global Outreach Enterprises and through its subsidiary, the Military Inmate Deployment is that the Ranese are an species that moved on Midlothian before the human corporate established their terraforming project. However that is a lie as the Ranese are indigenous to the planet and the story is used as a justification to evict and massacre the Ranese.
Culture[]
The Ranese are not as aggressive as their evolutionary neighbors, the Pagurani. They are relatively peaceful and live in constant fear of the M.I.D. who continuously menace their settlements. Most Ranese make their living as scavengers, salvaging Terraforming Towers destroyed by the Resistance to sell on the black market.
