The Rak'gol are a race of cybernetically enhanced marauders who plunder and pillage every other species they encounter, stealing their technology and viciously slaughtering their victims. Little is known about the Rak'gol, other than their cruelty and aggression. They are primarily encountered within the Koronus Expanse of the Milky Way Galaxy, leading many to theorise they are natives of this region of space.
Biology[]
In appearance, they are described as having eight limbs, four of which are used for locomotion, stand at an average height of 2.6 metres and demonstrate reptilian and insectoid qualities.
Culture and society[]
Rak'gol culture seems to largely revolve around raiding and plundering other races and groups, massacring their populations on sight and claiming their technology. Rak'gol also seem to demonstrate a particular fixation on cybernetic augmentation, often replacing much of their bodies with technology to denote status. The most powerful leaders of the Rak'gol are often more machine than Rak'gol.
Technology[]
Rak'gol technology is extremely primitive when compared to other races, including the Orks. Their Marauder starships are often ramshackle in design and still utilise the relatively obsolete nuclear fission reactors, relying on their own natural resilience to withstand the frequent radiation leaks within their ships. Most weapons and other devices utilised by the Rak'gol are often those designed by other species, stolen and turned on their creators' kind.
