Puckmarens are friendly little aliens from the planet Binpuka Minor, which was destroyed by a comet.
They are often seen hanging upside down but are able stand upright when they want to.
There is one known survivor who was saved when it was abducted by the Trimaxion Drone Ship to be studied. It now lives in Florida on planet Earth under the care of 12-year-old boy named David Freeman and his younger brother Jeff.
The surviving Puckmaren can give us many clues to a species now extinct: the amphibial gurgles, burps, and giggles that compose its speech allude to vocal patterns ranging in lower frequencies. This likely allowed them to communicate covertly in gaseous swamps where predators could not distinguish their coos from thermal vents. It's been theorized that the puckmarens slept in tight, confined spaces given that David holds the sole survivor in a vice like grip for much of his flight aboard the Trimaxion Drone Ship. Bore holes in trees or tree like organisms would make a suitable den for a tired puckmaren.
Likes: being tickled, being alive, being in Ft. Lauderdale.
While not confirmed, some hypothesize that the R.A.L.F. 5 NASA robot unit that guided David to the ship was actually controlled by the Puckmaren, not by "Max".
