A more humanoid variant of Promethean than the Knight or Crawler, the Promethean Soldier is a Forerunner Armiger originally used by Ur-Didact to raid ancient Human ships before being repurposed for combat against the Flood. Though less durable than Promethean Knights, Promethean Soldiers have inherited the former's now disused energy shields and short-range teleporters, while also displaying skill in the use of Human weaponry and vehicles. They have are also capable of verbal communication, even conversing with each other in human languages.
