While also being a subgroup of Decepticons, Pretender Monsters consider themselves a species unto themselves.

Pretender Monsters have similar biology to other Cybertronians, except that they transform into monsters.

Pretender Monsters share many of the same abilities as other Cybertronians.
Pretender Monsters can conceal themselves within monstrous outer shells.
Pretender Monsters can combine to form a combiner known as Monstructor.
Culture and Society[]
Pretender Monsters are a group of evil Decepticons whose very presence is an ill omen. They have a tendency to show up in alternate futures and hidden areas of the universes where mortals have tempted forbidden knowledge.
