Pretenders are a subspecies of Cybertronians from the planet Cybertron.

Anatomy[]
Pretenders share a similar biology to other Cybertronians, except they are fitted with special external armor shells called Pretender Shells that can disguise their very nature as robots.
Certain Pretenders are capable of transforming into organic lifeforms such as humans.
Powers and abilities[]
Pretenders share many of the same abilities as other Cybertronians.
Rather than hiding themselves as the machinery or vehicles of another world, Pretender Shells allow a Pretender to take on the appearance of the native life forms.
Due to the nature of their shells, Pretenders possess enhanced regenerative abilities.
