The Polygots are a species of sentient plants native to the planet Totus.
Biology[]
One of two species of plants on Totus capable of speech. They serve as the ambassadors of their world. They resemble floating flowers.
Culture[]
They are a caste of greeters to visitors of Totus. Due to their contact with other lifeforms they are linguistically capable. Giving tours of the botanical wonders on their world. Polygots have no sense of individuality. Like all botanical life on Totus they are a hive collective and are in constant communication with their entire world, via chemical signals at root and bud level. Thus they are incapable of leaving their world as they would be unable to function without the hive mind.
