Plutonians are one of Pluto's sapient races. Ordinary Plutonians are cubic, with two eyes that are vertical or diagonal, without a mouth and with antennae of different shapes. The antennae act as ears. Plutonians are able to take different shapes (they may be gaseous).
They have forbidden feelings and emotions, as they say they interfere with their work. If any Plutonian begins to experience emotions, a special police force removes them from him.
Types[]
“Plutonian Heroes”[]
These Plutonians have pink, green and blue skin tones. They are shaped like cubes, of varying sizes, with antennae on their heads that act as ears. Each of Pluto's heroes has awards of the same name hanging on the back. Some of the awardees have five or six of these badges.
Plutonian workers[]
These Plutonians live and work on spaceships. All of the workers have a specific task on their ship - some clean up rubbish, others watch over life in space. The workers are all coloured in a duller or greyer colour.
Plutonian police officers[]
Police officers
The main task of these Plutonians is to keep order on the Starship and check if any Plutonians have emotions (which they later deprive them of with a special device). Police officers are dressed in special police uniforms and look like Plutonian workers, though they are much stricter than they are. They also have blinkers.

Plutonian commander[]
This Plutonian looks like a worker, but he is much bigger. His main job is to give commands to the worker Plutonians.
Plutonian garbage collector[]
The Plutonian rubbish collectors are much larger than usual and look like a simple rubbish truck, but without wheels, white and with various inscriptions on the sides. However, they do have eyes. The main job of these Plutonians is to keep the Starship clean.
Non-cubic species[]
Pluto is also home to some non-cubic species:
- Slime Plutonians. These sapient species of Pluto are distinguished from the rest of the planet's inhabitants by their green colouration and jelly-like body.
- Interpreters. The Plutonians have robotic translators that translate their language into Earth languages. Unlike living Plutonians, it is cone-shaped, purple in colour, and has a mouth but no eyes. Instead of legs, it has two springs.
Spaceships[]
Two types of Plutonian spaceships are known.
Plutonian Heroes’ Spaceship[]
The spaceship on which the “Plutonian Heroes” fly is a hexagonal prism with a smooth, shimmering surface. In addition to the living Plutonians, the ship houses a robotic translator.
Big spaceship[]
This ship is home to many Plutonians working in space. The ship consists of several metal parallelepipeds.
