The Outsiders or Dark Ones are a mysterious alien race.
Biology[]
Judging from a holographic image from the Aurelian Database, the Outsiders seem to be vaguely bulky humanoids with cybernetic implants.
Culture and society[]
Very little is known about the Outsiders only that they are a threat to interstellar civilization.
History[]
In the 1940s humanity received a transmission from the Aurelians, warning of the Dark Ones. A hundred years later humanity created its first FTL vessels to explore the galaxy and seek allies to confront this threat. A ship was sent to investigate the Aurelian Homeworld. The Human explorers found the world to be cracked open, its resources still intact, but the entire populace dead.
The existence of the Outsiders have spread to other worlds, though only rumors. Later investigations by humanity hinted that the Aurelians may have hurt the Outsiders badly enough to halt their invasion plans for Earth.
