The Ortogs are a hexapedal species of mammals from Unzervalt used by the local humans as a source of meat, milk and leather.
They are described as "2000 pound beasts with pendulous udders that resembled a cross between a cow and a lizard".

Ortogs are the true forms of the Precursors after devolving themselves to hide from the Eternal Ones. They were also used as hosts by the Xchaggers.
