Optocs are a sapient species of gastropods and one of the several races that make up the Empire.
Biology[]
Optocs are slug-like creatures with a pair of tentacle-like arms with no fingers. They have wide mouths, pale skin, white teeth and yellow sclerae. They're most well known for their six eyes which rest on top of extendable, independently-moving and highly-mobile eyestalks.
Culture and society[]
Optocs are one of the many species that make up the Empire, which also includes Aquanogs, Arcturians, Canids, Cragorians, Densadrons, Felinids, Geeories, Humans, Macriki, Mantavors, Tuskrus and Zirrelians, among others.
Notable members[]
Onus was a crew member of the ship RLS Legacy in its voyage to search for the legendary Treasure Planet. While acting as the ship's lookout, he was also secretly a member of John Silver's pirate crew and participated on the mutiny after arriving on the mythical planet.
After the battle for Flint's treasure and the activation of the ancient trap which caused the entire planet to explode, Onus was finally arrested along with Krailoni, Hedley, Torrance, and Grewnge, and presumably brought to trial.
