The Operators are a race of world conquering aliens.
Biology[]
Operators resembling jellyfish with sharp tipped tentacles. They have a unique ability to parasitically control any living organism, making the the organism their own body. Though when they take over a host with a viable mind, they run the risk of being subsumed by the innate instincts of the host.
History[]
The Operators arrived on Earth, which in the distant future was reduced to a dead world as a result of its dominant species. The Operators though discovered a facility that contained DNA samples of Earth’s various life forms, which they claimed to be used in their military arsenal to create new organic exosuits in their war machine.
From the samples salvaged, the Operators created a station where many of Earth life forms were recreated. Most importantly after seeing the devastation wrought by the native species to the planet, humanity, the Operators hoped to revive the species so that their natural aggression could be turned on their enemies. To that end four infant male humans were created from the DNA samples.
However their lack of understanding on humans, led to acting director of the station to misunderstand that the infants when introduced into one of the biomes would be able to survive on their own via their natural instincts. Of four specimens, only one survived. None reached adulthood as they were easy prey to the predators of the biome.
Culture[]
With no bodies of their own, the Operators move from world to world, harvesting bodies for the organic exosuits they use to wage their endless wars.
