Alien Species

Oberonians are a sapient species of rodent-like creatures from the planet Oberon which are divided into several ethnic groups.

Biology[]

Oberonians are furry omnivorous rodent-like creatures with bushy tails. Their size varies widely, ranging from the 9-inch-tall Chimberts to the portly Human-sized Tsuggs. Most stand somewhere between 1 and 3 ft, however.

Known ethnic groups include Blufs, Chimberts, Choobs, Doobs, Grimbles, Ploots, Tsuggs and Twilpritts.

Compared to Humans, Oberonians are unable to hold their breaths for any appreciable time. Being able to hold one's breath for the time it takes to count to ten is considered an impressive feat. They also find it extremely difficult to bend over and touch their own toes, suggesting that they lack flexibility, and are unable to leap over moderately-sized objects. Even for a Tsugg, leaping over a 12 inch high obstacle in a single bound is considered a remarkable achievement.

Culture and society[]

Oberonian society is somewhat reminiscent of the Medieval era of Earth's history. They employ swords as weapons and have domesticated local animals to be used as mounts.
