Nephrites are a one-eyed subspecies of Gem.

Appearance Edit

Nephrites resemble human teenagers with a single large green eye, skin in various shades of green, and tufted or messy white, dark green, or olive hair.

Corrupted Nephrites take the form of giant centipede-like creatures known as Centipeetle Mothers.

Function Edit

Nephrites serve as pilots for various types of ships and building structures on Gem colonies. Their rank is never clearly stated, but it is possible that they are high-ranking Gems because they have been known to captain their own ships.

Abilities Edit

When corrupted, Nephrites can produce Centipeetle spawn resembling the mother but smaller in size and lacking white manes and crystal covering each segment. They can also can shoot globs of highly corrosive substance that can corrode almost anything and climb on sheer cliff faces.
