Nebula orchids were plants that grew on Yavin IV and could be seen supported by Massassi trees. They had woody, lanky roots and flowers colored with brilliant swirls. When the vines of a nebula orchid were severed, they would writhe and leak the plant's deep purple sap. A short time later, the vines would stop writhing and start to contract.
