The N'Tal are a species of energy beings which came to Earth, requesting bodies for their own dying race.

Biology[]

The N'Tal are a parasitic species - or as they prefer to call it, symbiotic - and must use host bodies to live longer than two years. They are able to induce cellular regeneration to the bodies they possess to make it suitable for inhabitation. However the body needs to be more or less in good condition and regeneration one or two organs seem to be their limit. Should one grow too old, their regularly golden hue would begin to switch to a blue one, presumably indicating that their energy was starting to dim. At least one individual named Kadmis was able to hold a quasi-humanoid form in order to communicate.

History[]

The N'Tal became the dominant species on their world by taking over the deceased bodies of the most promising mammals of their world.

The N'Tal came to Earth as refugees as their own planet was rendered uninhabitable by their own negligence. They appealed to the United Nations for the bodies of the dead to use as host bodies so that their species may survive. The UN consented, exchanging bodies of the deceased. However, the decision faced controversy as many humans protested this, succumbing to fear and hatred. Many believed that the N'Tal method of existence made them no different to grave-robbers and parasites, despite the circumstances.

The UN were unable to provide the N'Tal with enough hosts, only providing around 30,000 suitable bodies within a year for 200,000 N'Tal refugees. Several cults bloomed at the arrival of the N'Tal wishing to offer their bodies, believing that they would advance into a new spiritual stage.

When a number of their kind felt that mankind was not offering enough corpses for them to transfer through, the replacement of the leader during the first 2 years was believed to have initiated a plot to cause excess death for them to transfer with. This plan was thought to involve transferring rare chemicals - both terrestrial and not - capable of asphyxiating Humans when combined in certain ways. When the local individual who took care of transferring the corpses of mankind to by used by the N'Tal moved to this location to investigate however, he discovered that instead the N'Tal were working to breed themselves into Humanity; one had given birth to a pure Human child, and the rest planned on breeding themselves out of existence with man.

Culture[]

The N'Tal are ruled by the Peerage, however only one member remains alive.
