Mykesian is a sapient insectoid species native to planet Mykezjos in the Milky Way Galaxy.[1]

Mykesian is a sapient insectoid species native to planet Mykezjos in the Milky Way Galaxy. They have short height, and resemble Earth cockchafers. Mykesians have seven pairs of legs, and walk on four pairs of them, while the others are used for carrying items, and remain in the constant motion. They have eyes on the lumps, resembling those of Earth snails, and have backs covered in the scaly armor. Their speech is similar to squeaking and they are not able to use Human speech, and for that reason they use speech synthesizers in purpose to contact with them. The species is highly intelligent and completely devoid of aggression.[1]

Mykesians are very advanced technologically, including being more advanced than Humans. They had never created cultural goods or attempted space exploration.[1]
Mykesians had helped Humans in developing technologies allowing them to terraform planets with acid atmospheres, and building underwater mines.[1]

Mykesians were one of the first civilizations, that Humans had made contact with.[1]
