Mulchons are a green, lizard-like alien species that feeds exclusively on large trees.
They have three-digit fingers and three-toed feet, which have retractable claws. They are able to feed off of trees similar to a man-made woodchipper: cutting it down, and devouring it from the trunk upwards; their mouths and teeth acting like blenders while feasting. It only takes a few minutes for a full grown Mulchon to devour a full grown tree in such a manner. The planet they live on is unknown, though it can be assumed that it completely lacks any form of tree-like vegetation, judging from their ravenous appetite towards said food source.
Mulchons aren't actively aggressive towards other races, and are rather shy towards others as they collect trees. However, they will act violently with anyone who stands in the way of their food. While Mulchons haven't shown direct communication, they are able to slightly communicate through the act of charade. Another issue is that when visiting a planet, they take away a ton of trees as well.
Technologies used by Mulchon, far as we known, are mostly used in a similar manner to lumberjacks. One of these items include a fame chainsaw, with a length adjustment to help them cut down a huge amount of trees. Their planetary transport resembles large logger trucks. Although it is unclear what kind of fuel it uses, is has a scent similar to that of diesel.
