The Movellans are an android species from the planet Movella, in star system 4-X-Alpha-4. They notably fought a centuries-long war against the Daleks.
Biology[]
The Movellans are humanoid in appearance, they have binary optical receptors, with two arms and two legs, their primary power source is external on their bodies thereby it is the most vulnerable spot on their being. Despite have no multi-continental early ancestry, they do display differing racial traits as well as showing some form of sexual dimorphism despite most likely being asexual in nature due to their mechanical biology.
Movellans pride themselves in their logical nature and their physical resilience, as it takes massive circuitry disturbances to kill them.

The Movellans possess ships capable of interstellar and even intergalactic travel as well as time travel capabilities. All members of their species can connect to a neural net and have access to their mighty battle computer. The standard Movellan hand-held weapon is conical in shape and has both kill and stun settings. One of their most powerful weapons had the ability to ignite an entire planet's atmosphere.
History[]
The Movellans' early history is not too well known and there have been explanations to their origins but the best one that can be assumed is that they were built by another humanoid species who were wiped out by an unknown catastrophe, possibly the Movellans themselves!
In the far future, the Movellans were at war with the Daleks with both sides never fully attacking one another but they did both have one thing in common, both sides in the conflict had highly logical battle computers which only told one side to strike at a specific time, eventually, thanks to the assistance of the rouge Time Lord known as The Doctor, it was concluded that the side that would win the war, would be the first side to turn off their battle computer.
The Movellans later bioengineered a virus to destroy the Daleks. It was very effective, nearly driving the Daleks to extinction.
At an unknown point following The Last Great Time War, the Movellans and the Daleks once again engaged in conflict, during one of the battles of this war, the Doctor used the battle in order to try to escape a mysterious sapient puddle.
