The Mothmen were creatures created by the Selenite leader Ingrid Cold as his shock troops.
Biology[]
Mothmen resembled lanky humanoid moths. Despite their frail appearance they possessed superhuman strength, the ability to fly even through air and even in a vacuum. In addition they possessed heat-ray vision.
History[]
Millions of years ago the Mothmen were created by the despot Ingrid to destroy his creations on Earth whenever they dissatisfied him.
One of his earliest creations being intelligent dinosaurs earned his ire after witnessing the King Allosaurus, dinosaur king, being beloved by all his subjects and his son's Yangchuanosaurus superdino abilities.
Ingrid sent forth the Mothmen who eradicated the dinosaurs within a day.
In the present day, after the newly made superhero Aran, who possessed the spirit of Yangchuanosaurus and Neon went to investigate the moon, it triggered a trap, which killed Neon and unleased the Mothmen who then descended upon the Earth to carry out their orders to destroy humanity.
The Mothmen were held at bay by the heroes of Earth and were eventually recalled back by the Selenites after Aran killed Ingrid Cold leading to a peace treaty between the Selenites and humanity.
However King Allosaurus who had been kept as a grisly beheaded trophy managed to regenerate his full body, and went on a warpath of massacring the leaderless Selenites. The Mothmen were dispatch to protect their masters but were all exterminated, their corpses discarded in a pile by the vengeful dinosaur.
