The Moss Men are a mysterious race of magical beings from an unidentified forest-like dimension; supposedly taken over by both King Aldrich and his son Andrias. Therefore, the species is almost extinct where only a few individuals remain from within Amphibia.
Biology[]
Their appearance is quite similar to reticent human-sized bigfoot with a thickness of moss around their whole body, have long branch-like antlers atop their head and can produce small white and yellowish-orange flowers. They possess huge, glowing cyan eyes and would often appear wandering in mist which apparently, they seem to nourish and can somehow disappear leaving not even a trace behind. The Moss Men can also live for a millennium.
History[]
The Moss Men are tranquil creatures from a forest-like dimension, they're able to sprout plants unusually. Roughly thousands of years ago, their world was dominated by King Andrias' ancestors where a few individuals were bought back to Amphibia so Amphibians could principally study them on improving their own medical technology. Those remaining Moss Men were thus chained up and locked away in a garden although despite their imprisonment, the Moss Men didn't seem to mind as they merely cared for each plant.
After when Leif had stolen the Calamity Box from Newtopia, she released the Moss Men and managed to escaped with help from a female specimen; who for centuries, has roamed near Wartwood Swamp in isolation which became an urban legend throughout most of Amphibia.
