The Molluscari are a sapient, spacefaring species of mollusk-like creatures.
Biology[]
The Molluscari physically resemble large oysters, protected by shells, and have sharp snapping pincers. They spawn in the ocean and change sexes throughout their lives. Although they usually feed on phytoplankton, when the spawning season comes they need to consume meat.
Culture and society[]
Molluscari vessels are called clam ships. The Molluscari are a hostile species and have no qualms about invading other planets and feeding on other sapient races, such as the Keltans.
