Mini-Con Triple Changers are a subspecies of Mini-Con/Triple Changer-hybrid Cybertronians commonly found on the planet Cybertron, though they also inhabit a variety of other colony worlds such as Animatron and Combatron.

- The concept of Mini-Con Triple Changers was first mentioned in Over-Run's bio in Dreamwave's More Than Meets The Eye: Transformers: Armada book.
- In the Generations: Thrilling 30 toyline, Legends Class figures are paired with smaller Triple Changer-esque partners with robot, vehicle (or beast), and weapon modes. Clear redecoes of several partner figures would be released in Japan years later in 2014 as part of the "Clear Micron Campaign". Considering "Micron" is the Japanese term for "Mini-Con", these characters are likely to be Mini-Con Triple Changers.
- These Mini-Con Triple Changers are reinterpretations of other types of Cybertronians such as Micromasters, regular Insecticons, and Photons.
