The Mind Freaks are a species of planet controllers.
Biology[]
Mind Freak were pod-like hulks with two stumpy arms and six lower metal tentacles. They have two eyes and fanged teeth. Mind Freaks as their name suggests could invade the minds of other races and take control over them. Though it appears this to be limited to species that they have for generations enslaved.
History[]
Four millennia ago, a Mind Freak cocooned as hatchling tumbled through the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. A hundred years ago, the hatchling eventually landed on the planet Clervix 3. Upon maturing the Mind Freak took the name Zazlaz, and proceeded to take over the planet. His control over the native Clervixian was done through the use the tree cameras to spy on them, putting chemicals in their bison to keep the population docile, and installing a culture that insisted everything be not extra because it made everyone easier to control.
By modern times, the planet soon became home to a family of Shlorpians who fled Earth to avoid being permanently turned into humans. Their leader Krovo taking a liking to Clervix 3 decided make it his family's new home and applied for citizenship. However his partner Terry, obsessed with finding something weird or a conspiracy on Clerix, eventually tracked and located Zazlaz, holding him hostage.
Zazlaz attempted to kill the family using his Clervixian slaves he used as puppets. However the family got the better of him, and that left Zazlaz having no choice but to negotiate with the family. However he would not stop his thralls from calling Terry a nickname as it was part of his grand design.
Upon hearing that the Shlorpians used an Extra Ray to turn him into a basic-ass fiddle-leaf fig. Without his mental control over the populace, the Clervxian reverted into being belligerent and began fighting amongst one another.
Culture[]
The Mind Freaks are known throughout the galaxy for their nefarious and diabolical nature. They are found on many planets, controlling the populace from behind the scenes.
Their representative on Earth was Criss Angel.
