Midgel is the Engineer and Pilot from The Federation League of Planets in 3-2-1 Penguins!

Bio[]

Midgel landed his spot on the crew after an early mishap at the Federation League of Planets' Academy, during of which, he successfully constructed a deep-space emergency beacon from a karaoke machine, parts from a build it yourself theremin and a battery constructed from two large lemons, a penny, and a paperclip.

Personality[]

His job might seem like a lot of work for one man, I mean penguin, but Midgel manages to hold it all together. Midgel is short for his age, being only a tad bigger than both Jason and Michelle, but that does not keep his spirit down. He is always serious about his job on the crew, resulting in him being a little annoyed with Zidgel. But since he understands the fact that Kevin has a bit of ignorance, which keeps him calm with him.

Midgel shows an amount of friendship for Jason, for they both think things that are similar. He also has a chance of really clicking with Fidgel, for both of them are extremely smart and clever, even though Midgel is not a genius like Fidgel.

Appearance[]

Midgel is an Adelie Penguin. He is short and has three strands of hair hanging down his head. He wears an aviator hat. His uniform consists of an orange jumpsuit with a belt and the letter M on the emblem, brown gloves, a collar, and shoulder pads.

Trivia[]

  • His name presumably comes from the slur "midget," since he is the shortest member of the crew (excluding the Conrad twins).
  • In the original script of the Amazing Carnival of Complaining, Midgel was going to have an embarrassing bald spot.
  • According to an older version of the Big Idea website, if he wasn't on a spaceship crew, he would be on a pit stop crew, a cruise liner, or slinging onions and pickles onto sandwiches.
  • Midgel is left-handed, as seen in Spaceship Drivin' Man when he signs his name.
  • He speaks in a native Australian accent. (Though, he doesn't say much Australian slang such as "Crikey!".)
  • According to an older version of the Big Idea website, his signature color is blue.
  • Believe it or not, when it comes to music, Midgel likes a good lullaby. They're very relaxing.
