Meteor Beings are a race of beings gifted with the power to gift others with special powers, using this gift to give rise to heroes across the universe.

A Meteor Being's true form
Meteor Beings are mineral-based life forms which, as their name clearly indicates, are meteoric in shape, but with two arms and two legs and a face at the center of its body.
These beings can freely change their size at will, taking the form of gigantic and "malevolent"-looking meteors in order to penetrate a planet's atmosphere, but once they are about to make impact, they revert to their true tiny forms in order to avoid unnecessary destruction.
Culture and society[]
Meteor Beings are altruistic and benevolent beings who have dedicated their existence to going from planet to planet to find the most heroic, smartest, bravest and most caring heroes each planet has to offer and bless those lucky heroes with special superpowers so that they may use them to defend their worlds from evil. Once a meteor has given its gift, it will teleport away back from whence it came.
One particular meteor who landed in the heroless city of Good Haven, accidentally gave away his powers to the wrong group of noble heroes after they saved a baby, mistakenly thinking they met all the attributes when they were in fact quite incompetent, but were still caring and heroic nonetheless, with the meteor agreeing to let them keep their powers so long as they kept their promise of living up to the standards of a true hero and to also not tell the Meteor Being's superior of his error before he teleported away, and from then on, these silly superheroes became the courageous Mighty Heroes.
