The Metal Heads, or as the Ottsels call them, the Hora-Quan, are an alien species seen in the Jak and Daxter series.
Biology[]
There are many forms of the Metal Heads out their. They seem to be reptilian, dinosaurian or insectoid from origin and have possibly had technology implanted into them, making them a cyborg race. Metal Heads hatch from eggs. The Metal Heads could be believed to be either one species or a collection of races.
Culture and Society[]
Metal Heads often take orders from leaders, such as the case with Metal Kor being the original leader for them, Metal Kaeden being the leader of the Metal Bugs subrace of Metal Heads and Cyber-Errol who commanded the Metal Heads when he was helping the Dark Makers.
History[]
The Metal Heads were at war with the Precursors and once allied with the Dark Makers, only to be betrayed by them. The Metal Heads later found their way to a version of Earth after a rift gate to the future was opened by Jak, Daxter, Samos Hagai and Keira Hagai. Because of this, the Metal Heads and the Humans of that version of Earth went to war for years, with powerful Metal Heads disguising themselves as humans.
At one point, a person known as Baron Praxis made a deal with the Metal Heads and gave the Eco, so that they would often avoid attacking the city. After Daxter went to the future, he went to clear out the Metal Bug subrace of Metal Heads from Haven City and even defeating Metal Kaeden.
After Daxter rescued Jak, the two went to help the Freedom Fighters, residents of Haven City and a few Krimzon Guards to fight against the Metal Heads. The two even defeated the main leader known as Metal Kor.
Afterwards, Jak and Daxter continued to fight against and defeat and and all Metal Heads they find, though Haven City, to the wastelands and a few other places.
It is unknown what happened to the Metal Heads after this, though it is possibly that they are still out their.
