The Megamouth is a cow-sized carnivore native to Shear. Megamouths are expert ambush predators, with sturdy short legs, and a frog-like body. Its body is covered in armored scutes, giving it the perfect camouflage in rocky landscapes. To hunt, it lies and wait, remaining perfectly emotionless until its prey wanders within reach. It also has rows of teeth, similar to shark's teeth, to hold onto struggling prey. Its camouflage also works when hiding from larger carnivorous creatures that prey on it, though the Megamouth is only hunted by the largest of predators, many others not much of a threat towards it.
