Alien Species

Martians are an unnamed humanoid species from Mars, who are known to abduct animals and other lifeforms from other planets, such as Earth.

Biology[]

Martians are tall humanoids, mostly resembling Humans. However, they have a slightly larger, hairless cranium, which bears paler skin than the rest of their bodies, and what appears to be extra skin above their otherwise Human-like earlobes, forming a small point. They possess superhuman strength, enough to effortlessly break through most obstacles and throw adult Humans great distances. When speaking, they make buzzing sounds between words. Despite evolving in the Martian environment, they are perfectly capable of surviving in Earth's atmosphere without protective equipment.

Culture and society[]

Little is known of Martian society, other than the fact that they are quite apathetic, and abduct animals from other planets for unknown reasons. While their focus is on animals, with the method of collecting the animals being simply grabbing them and returning to their ship, Martians are also known to abduct sapient lifeforms with animal-like traits, even if said traits are nothing more than a costume. Normally, Martians ignore any sapient natives of the planets they land on, but if they meet resistance, Martians will attack anyone who provokes them or otherwise stands in their way, utilizing their bare hands or objects that they pick up. If resistance becomes too fierce, Martians retreat rather than keep fighting. Martian clothing is known to consist of green tunics with pointed shoulder pads, several metallic buttons dotting it, five rounded protrusions extending from the tunic collar, a red cape with a high stand collar, tight red pants, silvery boots, a large belt with several rounded protrusions lining it, and green vambraces with a line of spike-like protrusions.

Technology[]

ChapulinSaucer

A Martian spaceship

Martians have access to highly advanced technology, able to fly between planets with red flying saucer-like spacecraft that emit strange whistle-like sounds while in flight. Their general shape somewhat resembles a top, with a pointed underside and flatter top, with its center body considerably rounder rather than disc-like. These saucers appear to be equipped with teleportation technology, which can teleport Martians and anything they are holding in flashes of light and smoke. It is also possible that teleportation is a Martian ability, not the result of technology.

History[]

In the 1970s, a Martian arrived on a farm on Earth, abducting chickens from the farm, his presence frightening the farmer's cow to the point that it did not produce milk. His spacecraft was soon seen by the young neighbor of the farmer, and later the daughter of the farmer, who told her father of the sight. The farmer did not believe her, thinking she only saw a similarly-colored football that the neighbor had thrown. However, the Martian's ship was soon seen by the farmer as well, prompting him to summon a superhero known as El Chapulín Colorado. El Chapulín Colorado searched for the Martian, mistaking the neighbor, who was wearing a football uniform, for the alien. Believing that there was no Martian after all, the farmer left to confront the neighbor, only for the Martian to teleport to in front of him. Ignoring the farmer, who was paralyzed with fear, the Martian wordlessly grabbed a chicken from a nearby coop and teleported away with it. Meeting with El Chapulín Colorado again, the farmer attempted to explain what he saw, only to be scared off upon seeing the Martian teleport into view. The Martian, mistaking El Chapulín Colorado for an animal due to his grasshopper-like outfit, approached Chapulín from behind, who was frightened by the Martian's appearance. The Martian explained who he was to a very scared Chapulín, and then tried to abduct him, but El Chapulín managed to evade him and hide in the house. The Martian easily punched through the door, making El Chapulín run off again, only to be met by the farmer's daughter and the neighbor in the house.

The neighbor, somehow mistaking the Martian for the farmer, begins apologizing for throwing his football onto the property, until the farmer's daughter realizes what the Martian is. The neighbor attempts to run, making the Martian chase after him. El Chapulín Colorado then returned with a new weapon to fight the Martian with: La Chicharra Paralizadora, a horn that could freeze what it targets when honked. Chapulín used the horn to freeze the Martian just as he came in with a chair raised for a strike. As the farmer looked over the frozen Martian, Chapulín idiotically tried to demonstrate how the horn can unfreeze its victims with two consecutive honks, accidentally unfreezing the Martian and allowing him to slam the chair over the farmer's head, knocking him out. Chapulín froze the Martian again to get the farmer back up, but then ended up unfreezing the Martian yet again, being forced to run outside after getting his horn knocked away while the Martian chased him.

Outside, Chapulín attempted to fight the Martian, only to be effortlessly thrown back inside twice, although he was able to evade the Martian on his next attempt, only for the famer to accidentally use La Chicharra Paralizadora on El Chapulín, allowing the Martian to strike him. The farmer then unfroze Chapulín, making him fall down and inadvertently causing the Martian's next strike to hit the farmer in the stomach. However, just before the Martian could uppercut the farmer, El Chapulín froze him. While celebrating, Chapulín foolishly honked the horn twice and unfroze the Martian, who sent the farmer flying into the air with his punch, Chapulín barely managing to save him from the fall by freezing him in mid-air. Finally freezing the Martian again, the farmer's daughter and the neighbor met up with Chapulín, although another foolish use of the horn unfroze the Martian and allowed him to strike the neighbor. However, seeing the resistance the Humans were posing, the Martian decided to retreat, teleporting away.
