The Martians are an extraordinarily-advanced civilization with access to reality-warping technology.
Biology[]
The appearance of this species is not known, as they've only been seen disguised as Humans. The way they describe Humans as having beady eyes and no antennae might give an insight into their own form, suggesting that the Martians themselves might possess antennae and big eyes; but this is merely speculative.
Martians can live for over 280 years. Their perception of time passage seems to be radically different from other species, as a Martian's comment indicates that they regard an 11 microseconds trip as long, and can easily differentiate between events that take microseconds to happen and those that are truly instantaneous.
They can consume coffee and cigarettes; both of which seem to have the same effect on them as they do on Humans.
Culture and society[]
Martians are a spacefaring civilization with colonies on both of Mars' natural satellites: Phobos and Deimos. They send caretakers to secretly blend in with alien species and observe their customs; as well as inspectors to conduct further observation when deemed necessary. These agents respond to an authority known as Central Control.
Murder is an alien and incomprehensible concept to them, and they claim that Earth is the only planet in the galaxy in which it occurs.
Technology[]
The Martians' technology includes devices that can scan minds, predict future events and alter the passage of time in a selected area, being capable of speeding up, slowing down or reversing time several times over. They can beam themselves from a distance of 11 million miles instantaneously.
