The Mar are a ferocious alien race from the Black Sable Universe.
Biology[]
The Mar resemble humanoid great white sharks. Female Mar appear to be more slimmer while males are bulkier and have more muscle.
History[]
In the past the Mar were once the dominant galactic superpower in the galaxy. However they were betrayed and ousted by the emergent human species under the leadership of the corrupt Alpha Corporation. The Mar attempted to destroy humanity and the Corporation, after a human collaborator assisted in throwing the Corporation fleet into disarray.
However the galactic invasion was stopped after the Mar King was assassinated by pirates hired by the Corporation, and the surviving queen and prince were forced to call back their fleets under duress.
Culture[]
Th Mar evolved on a harsh water world with torrential rains.
Based on their raids of Alpha Corporation, they are utterly ruthless and savage. Said to be the most vicious race in the galaxy who never show mercy or take prisoners. Due to their appearance they are referred as sharks.
