Malpha's species are a sapient extra-galactic race, regarded in the 40th century as one of the great powers of the outer galaxies. In the year 4000, a representative of this species became one of several allies of the Daleks in their planned invasion of the Milky Way.

Members of this species are tall silicon-based humanoids, with pale white 'skin' comprised of a rock-like substance crisscrossed by a network of dark veins, making them appear crack. Due to their body composition, they can be destroyed through sonic vibrations. As their homeworld has high gravity, members of this species possess superhuman strength.
