The Makers is a term used by the inhabitants of a world where the said aliens created various environments to house several different alien species they collected across the universe,
History[]
Very little information is known about the Makers. There is no knowledge of them of them ever interacting with their species they collected and transplanted on their world. The only known species that claimed to had any direct communication with the Makers were the Stone Seekers who were one of the oldest cultures that were deposited on the planet. Among the species that the Makers collected are the Yellow Crests, and the Wolves.
The most recent species the Makers acquired are a group of teenage humans who they transplanted on a section bordering the Yellow Crests.
Culture[]
The motives of the Makers are unknown as the never reveal themselves to their captives, relying on seemingly automated FTL ships to collected their specimens on different world. There is only speculation from the species that were brought to the world. To the Yellow Crests they believed that the Makers took them from their worlds to study them to understand their culture, others think that the world the Makers made is a battleground where the various species must fight to prove their supremacy. Some like the humans think that they were brought to the Maker's world to be placed in a sort of zoo world for primitive sentient species.
From their technology such as the Giving Trees and the Knowledge Transfer Devices it can be ascertained that the Makers have an interest in keeping their abducted captives alive by giving them tools needed to survive on their world. The Giving Trees are nutrient dispensers scattered across the various environment that appear to be universally usable by all the inhabitants. Likewise the Knowledge Transfer Devices act as a means to provide universal linguistic translations to smooth communication between the different species.
