The M51 Galaxy humanoids are an ancient unnamed humanoid species from an unknown world in the M51 Galaxy.
Biology[]
The M51 Galaxy humanoids appear indistinguishable from Humans in outward appearance, with no known differences in their physiology. They appear to be able to grow old like Humans, while displaying features such as lengthy and greying facial hair, although their lifespan is unknown. At least some of their number display magical abilities.
Culture and society[]
Little is known about the society of the M51 Galaxy humanoids, other than they took a stand against evil. With magic users known to be in their society, they acted as the guardians to the Zeo Crystal, a powerful energy-generating artifact that grows in strength over time, and were willing to go through great lengths to protect it, including hiding it in another galaxy with a forcefield that can only be bypassed by those who are good. Referred to as merely the people of M51, it is possible that they were the dominant species in the M51 Galaxy at least at one point in the distant past, either through population or influence, and presumably had good relations with the Triforians, as the Triforians guarded power gems made from the Zeo Crystal. The M51 Galaxy humanoids who placed the Zeo Crystal in its secure location were dressed in purple robes with green scarfs.
Technology[]
The M51 Galaxy humanoids had achieved intergalactic travel, capable of traveling from their home galaxy to the Milky Way, although it is unknown if this feat was achieved technologically or through magic. They have also been seen using large staffs to channel their abilities.
History[]
Over ten thousand years ago, the M51 Galaxy humanoids either created or acquired the Zeo Crystal, and served as its guardian, fighting against evil forces that wished to acquire its power, such as Master Vile. Master Vile started a campaign of conquest across the M51 Galaxy, prompting the M51 humanoids to hide the Zeo Crystal on Earth's moon, deep within the Caves of Deception, creating a forcefield and illusions throughout the caves to prevent any evil power from physically touching the Zeo Crystal, also creating a palace above the caves. At an unknown point in time, certain power coins made by the Zeo Crystal were given to the Triforians, possibly by the M51 Galaxy humanoids. Eventually, the M51 Galaxy was conquered by Master Vile, becoming a place where evil reigned supreme. What became of the M51 humanoids is unknown, but since their facility on Earth's moon was abandoned, it is likely that they were completely subjugated or exterminated. While the fate of the M51 humanoids is unknown, their protective system over the Zeo Crystal remained active for millenniums, until the Zeo Crystal was acquired by Tommy Oliver of the Power Rangers, as he was deemed good enough to claim it.
