Loveland Frogs are a species of bipedal child-sized cryptids, either reptilian or amphibian in appearance, which have been spotted several times in the vicinity of Loveland, Ohio; the earliest reported sighting dating from 1955.

Biology[]

These creatures are tail-less bipeds, standing between 3 and 4 ft. (~ 91 cm to 1.2 m) in height, and their overall appearance is reminiscent of a bipedal frog with greyish leathery skin, webbed hands and feet. Sightings often occur on the sides of roads at night; suggesting nocturnal habits for the species. Despite being amphibians, they seem to remain active in cold weather. They may also be gregarious, as the famous sighting in 1955 described three creatures, apparently conversing together.

Some sources claim that, once the trio noticed the man observing them, one of them raised its hand holding what appeared to be a stick that produced sparks, causing the witness to flee. This strange incident has been pointed out as evidence for supernatural abilities, or even a potentially extraterrestrial nature to these cryptids.
