The Long Haired Creatures are a species featured in the game Inside. They are apparently humans who have adapted or modified to live underwater.
Consciousness and thoughts[]
The Long Haired Creatures are a sapient species, since in the end one of them provides the protagonist to survive and granted him the ability to breathe underwater, however, it is unknown if she has sentience. What can be observed is that at least most of them are extremely aggressive and hostile, since they try at all costs to disrupt a mission of the protagonist. It is likely that they had a motivation for this, however, it was never stated.
Appearance and biology[]
This species always appears to be extremely pale girls with long black hair that extends to (or beyond) their feet. They have no visible eyes, mouths or nose. It is also likely that it will be possible to see them if at some point it was possible to see them more closely.
They are practically identical to humans, however, they can breathe and move perfectly under water, despite having no apparent fin or gills. They are also super sensitive to light, and strong enough to break a submarine's window glass even under water. Apparently they cannot survive outside the water.
History[]
It is very likely that at some point, Long Haired Creatures had some encounter with humans, since they know some of the techniques that humans use as mouth to mouth breathing, seen when one of them tries to keep the protagonist alive after drowning.
