Lithards are a sapient species of dragon-like creatures which hail from Thak'r-Yon. When their homeworld was destroyed due to their sun going nova, the Lithards were saved by the Elder Gods, who relocated them to the extradimensional realm of Elysia.
Biology[]
Lithards are large, reptilian creatures with scaly iridescent green and golden skin, large black eyes, a serpentine neck, and leathery wings. They are born from oval eggs with blue and golden speckles, which are hatched in caves. Having evolved in a low-gravity world, they need to wear anti-gravity devices to be able to fly on Elysia.
Lithards speak with a lisp, pronouncing the "s" and "z" sounds as "th", which might be the source of their species' name (i.e. their pronunciation of the word "lizard").
Culture and society[]
The Lithards are benevolent creatures which serve the Elder Gods. Despite being sapient, the Lithards don't mind being used as mounts by other species.
