The Kyattar evolved on a world mostly covered by ocean with 30 arns of darkness and 2 arns of light every local day.
Kyattar are a humanoid species that possess a red shelled cranium and wrinkled skin. Kyattar are cerebravores and primarily feed on the brains of other intelligent species. Kyattar prefer to kill their victims first before feed as it makes consuming the brain easier. To feed they inject a cone-shaped tongue from their mouths into a victim's skull and suck out the mental flesh.

Known and feared throughout the galaxy, the Kyattar are told by mothers as a cautionary tale to their children to behave. Throughout the galaxy many works of fiction are made of the Kyattar of how they track and kill their victims, bringing destruction to settlements.
The Kyattar are regarded as such a work of fiction, but in fact they are very real and while most scholar dismiss their existence the Kyattar maintain the illusion that they are myths. They are said to take work as bounty hunters, assassins or enforces on the fringes of society so as to keep their true natures hidden.
And the stories of them are indeed true as they hunt other species for the sole pleasure of the brain.
