The Krakens are creatures that inhabit the waters around the Whispering Isle near the city of Kreach on the planet Ythaq. They gather around the isle, due to the number of condemned that attempted to escape the prison fortress.

The Krakens are molluscan like creatures similar to octopus, but are viciously carnivorous. They are armed with far greater tentacles that their terrestrial counterparts. And their heads resemble similar to arachnids.
