Khnum
The Khnum are a sapient race of conquerors originally from the Lambda Arietis system, home to multiple sapient races. The Khnum violently subjugated their neighbours and declared themselves gods to be served, establishing their own small empire even before joining Mental's Horde.
Overview[]
By the time the Khnum were discovered by Mental, they had already established an extraplanetary civilisation, having brutalised their home system's other sapients into submission and enforced worship of themselves as living gods. When Mental's Horde arrived, the Khnum Recognised their superior might, and so voluntarily joined them, earning positions of great prestige for their service.
Appearance-wise, Khnum resemble very large bipedal mammalians with red-eyes, grey skin, sharp teeth and goat-like horns. Whilst they possess a pair of humanoid hands and arms, their legs end in hooves. In addition to their tremendous strength, Khnum can also produce fireballs as ranged projectiles, as well as a considerable healing factor. Although they share a name with the ancient Egyptian god Khnum, these aliens bear a striking resemblance to traditional depictions of Demons.
