The Katrudians are an alien species from The Orville Universe.
Biology[]
Katrudians resemble huge flowers with large eyes and a toothless mouth. They are seen growing from plant pots so this is presumably how they gain nutrients. However, they also have root-like legs and can presumably move around. It is possible they evolved their intelligence and walking ability to remember and seek out far away water/nutritious areas of soil by migrating, similar to elephants.
