The Jumpum is a tree native to the Green Planet.
Biology[]
A species of trees with great vigor that evolved during a terrible drought on the Green Planet. The Jumpum at the time developed an adaptation out of desperate need to search for water by lifting themselves out of the soil, roots and all. Through the ages, the Jumpum trees eventually evolved to be mobile plants taking short hops every so often to take root in other soil spots. Jumpum forests on the Green Planet rarely stayed fixed to one location, making paths through them vanish in a minute or so.
